ARSENAL THIRD FOOTBALL SHIRT 2002/03 #10 BERGKAMP

Condition: Colours vibrant. Crests & sponsor immaculate, labels crisp. Starball & Name-set perfect. Dri Fit logo perfect. Material superb overall with smooth feel; odd micro bobble / micro spec.

 

The only flaw is some residue from a removed name-set: a strip of hard, glue residue between the numbers, & some letter residue behind current letters. Micro scuff / fray to the material above the number, which is almost a hole but not quite. Please check the close up pictures carefully.

Notes: Very rare & highly collectible Gold Third shirt featuring the modern Arsenal crest & O2 sponsorship combination.

 

The shirt was used just twice, Vs West Brom in a 2-1 Premier League win, and Vs Sheffield United in a 1-0 FA Cup Semi-final win. Allegedly, the shirt was only sold in the club shop, with very limited numbers available at the time.

 

The side finished 2nd in the Premier League during this season, and retained the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over Southampton in the Final.

 

Featuring UCL Starball to sleeve & European / Cup Lextra felt name set of #10 Dennis Bergkamp, although the shirt was never officially used in European competition.
